1st Day San Jose/Drake Bay
Early in the morning transfer to the airport for your 45-minute flight to Palmar Sur, our gateway to the magnificent Osa Peninsula. Upon arrival, taxi transfer to Sierpe for the 25 mile boat ride along Rio Sierpe. Observe the vast mangroves providing shelter for birds before reaching the ocean's mouth for our last leg along the Pacific coastline to Drake Bay. Check-in at the Casa Corcovado Jungle Lodge, this boutique Jungle resort will surprise you with its charming décor and fantastic cuisine. After lunch enjoy the balance of the day at leisure. Explore the immense bio-diversity right on your doorstep. Trails cross orchid draped streams and wind through virgin jungle. Howler monkeys and white-faced monkeys bounce through the canopy and the Scarlet Macaw, Toucan and Tanager are among the 300 species of birds indigenous to the region. Meals LD
2nd Day Corcovado National Park
After
breakfast, tour to Corcovado National Park. Explore
beach and forest trails. Look for signs of the bigger
mammals-Jaguar or Tapir tracks and for the extremely
lucky perhaps even a sighting of these shy forest animals. Meals BLD
3rd Day Cano Island
This
island reserve is one of the most valuable in Costa
Rica and is a sanctuary for marine life and migratory
birds. In addition to a multitude of fish, there are
countless brittle starfish and sea urchins. Two endangered
species in the vicinity of the island are the lobster

4th Day Drake Bay/San Jose
After
breakfast depart for our boat ride back to Sierpe. Transfer
to Palmar Sur in time for your return flight to San
